PROJAPOTI DAYCARE CENTERS

In 2024, MATI maintained its commitment to early childhood development by operating four rural daycare centers (DCCs), including one specifically for children with disabilities. These DCCs provided essential services to a total of 167 children from disadvantaged families. The centers utilized the world-renowned, child-centered Swiss teaching method, “Essence of Learning (EoL).” This method is implemented by teachers who have received specialized training from Ms. Beatrice Rutishauser, the method’s innovator.

In 2023, MATI began an exciting new project in Gohailkandi, Mymensingh: the construction of a five-story building. This facility, built with eco-friendly blocks, is designed to house a new daycare and preschool, funded by the Patrizia Foundation in Germany and MATI e.V. Germany.
The preschool and daycare officially opened in 2024 and employs the “Essence of Learning” (EoL) method, a unique Swiss pedagogical approach. This method likely emphasizes play-based learning, exploration, and child-centered activities to promote holistic development.
Currently, 65 children are enrolled, receiving education that combines the innovative EoL method with the regular curriculum across Early Childhood Development (ECD), Early Childhood Education (ECE), and Primary Education (PE) levels. The use of eco-blocks in construction highlights MATI’s dedication to sustainability and environmentally responsible practices, ensuring a safe and stimulating environment for the community’s children.
